New York, New York – 02/13/15 – Estado Ingravitto: A State Without Gravity – Madison Theater at Molloy College

Directed and choreographed by Ashlé Dawson (SYTYCD, Mira Quien Baila, MTV Made, America's Got Talent, Dick Clark's Rocking New Years Eve), "Estado Ingravitto - A State Without Gravity" will take you on a unique journey; from the time an individual leaves the workforce and monotony of daily life to their discovery in the joy and celebration of the afterlife.

Laced with Latin culture, "Estado" brings dance and music alive, including salsa, flamenco, cumbia and mexican folkloric, fused with contemporary dance, break dancing, Indian dancing and theatrical performance. With a diverse cast of 45, from over 15 different countries, the stage will come alive with color, music and enchantment.

The theme of the show is a homage to the popularly-celebrated, worldwide holiday "Día De Los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), with each dancer representing characters based on Mayan mythology. Incorporating creative imagination, we see representatives of ourselves to create a parallel between fiction and reality.
