Victoria Vikström, born and professionally trained in Sweden, started her career touring throughout Scandinavia with the Dans i Nord contemporary company. While still in Sweden, she also worked with the renowned Swedish choreographer Thomas Benstem, performing at Malmö Arena and Folkets park.
Since moving to New York in 2014, Victoria has performed work by Derek Mitchell, Phil Orsano, Shirlene Quigley and Peggy Choy. She has performed at venues including Dixon place, SAP arena, the Toyota Music Factory, UIC Pavilion, and the US Open. She was also a featured dancer on MTV’s TRL. Victoria has been a member of Kalamandir Dance Company since 2015 and is grateful for the sisterhood it continues to be.
